Oh what a happy childhood we had big brother. My first real introduction to you was when you tipped me out of my prom into the cold ashes dad kep outside the back door to put on the celery that he grew. As I was a real cry baby mum ignored it to start with then came out and found me on the floor Another time mum went round to Aunty Joan’s next door and you decided I needed a haircut, needless to say I has to wear a hat for a long time. Diane and I have both got eternal reminders of you. Playing stagecoaches and you swinging the big lamp that you have borrowed from the roadworks on the London Road around in the air and catching my eyebrow so I can never have even eyebrows. We dropped the manhole cover on Diane’s toe so she has one thick toenail. I also remember the marvelous Davy Crocket outfit with a fabulous hat that Mum made you for Christmas. I also member you cutting of Diane’s teddy bears head so she cut your teddys off. Another memory I have is of you and dad in the garage mechanicing your little lotus elan ready for you to race it on the weekend. You were the trailblazer for us both as you were the eldest and what a braves person you were with many happy memories of you David. Love to you always. Rosemarie x
