The memories of us all growing up with family around us.. so close we were as children and having big uncle Dave to keep us in check is something that I will remember. The times we used to all play together in your house in Tile Hill Lane..when there were fields behind the house.. the swing set and slide you had in the garden.. Time flies by so quickly and life moves on.. we travelled and moved away. Then I made it back to Coventry and then we saw more of you and Auntie Barbara.. Always taking our old car to Kwikfit so you could do the MoT.. Visiting you both over the last few years with my own special boys and bringing Auntie Barbara her cheese board gifts, as she prefers them to sweet stuff. Then the last couple of months visiting you in the hospital and the hospice, albeit it so sad, you kept up your strong will and Uncle Dave ways until the end. I am so grateful for the time me and my boys got to spend with you, although you got frustrated and annoyed when I could not understand your words. I will miss your presence and knowing that you are there. Rest now xx
